Die Albert Einstein Gesellschaft (AEG) hat 2009, gemeinsam mit der Universität Bern, einen neuen Vortragszyklus, die Albert-Einstein-Vorlesungen, lanciert. Im Rahmen dieser neuen Serie sollen jedes Jahr innerhalb einer Woche drei öffentliche Vorträge stattfinden. Im Andenken an das Werk von Albert Einstein werden die Vorträge abwechslungsweise Themen aus den Bereichen Physik und Astronomie, Mathematik, sowie Philosophie gewidmet sein. Angesehene Forscherpersönlichkeiten werden eingeladen, im Verlaufe des Herbstsemesters zu ausgewählten Themen von allgemeinem Interesse für ein breites Publikum zu sprechen.
